Paul is one of the founders and organizers of The Architecture Foundation in 1985. He served as TAF's first treasurer, chariman the first time in 1987 and 1988. Has served the foundation as director, secretary, treasurer and chair over the past years. Paul has also been AIAOC president, served AIACC as director in 1986 and 1987. He was chair of the AIACC Long Beach Conference "Vision Pacific" in 1990. He is principal of Paul J. Ruffing, AIA Architect, in Newport Beach, whose practice includes; Retail, Commercial and Institutional designs.
